Currently working as a Housing Assessment Support Officer in the Housing & Communities Team at Braintree District Council, offering support to social housing applicants and assessing their housing needs - including working with individuals and families who are homeless and vulnerable.As I progress in this career path, I aspire to work closer with the more vulnerable members of our district, including those who are experiencing or fleeing from Domestic Abuse.I have over 10 years of experience working in Customer Relationship Management, Contract and Account Management, Sales and Marketing. With 8 years being based in Local Government.I have a passion and dedication for Mental Health awareness, which I advocate for both inside and outside of work. I am a trained Mental Health First Aider in the workplace, and in my spare time I frequently fundraise for Mental Health Charities. I am a proud member and ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.Outside of work I am a lover of history, music, film and art.
