Testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) electrical power systems including but not limited to:-Protective relay testing and programming.-Power factor testing of generators, substation transformers, and metering equipment.-Transformer winding resistance, turns ratio, polarization index, device testing, and oil sampling and analysis.-Cable VLF high potential testing.-HV and MV breaker testing and repair.-MCC commissioning and maintenance.-HV and MV disconnect switch testing and repair.-Lock Out/Tag Out and grounding procedures.

LV to HV electrical consulting and field services. Duties included field review of electrical systems, electrical and controls design from pre-design to commissioning, arc flash and load flow analysis, electrical assessment reports, drafting, electrical testing, equipment maintenance, and SEL relay programming.

•Managed 10+ electrical and control system design projects (including project proposals, change orders, estimation, budget tracking, reporting, client communication, and multidisciplinary coordination) for wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, utility services for private land, and fish hatchery upgrades. •Electrical design from pre-design to record drawings including single line diagrams, three line diagrams, variable frequency drive and soft starter design, conduit and cable design, motor control center design, and lighting and power design.•Controls and instrumentation design from pre-design to record drawings including control panel design, programmable logic controller card wiring design, instrumentation design, fire alarm system design, and mass notification system design.•Utilization of the Canadian Electric Code, BC Building Code, and client project design standards.•Requirements identification, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Software Requirements Specification (SRS) creation for a Nuclear Plant.

•Managed three projects involving generator design, site fuel management, and fiber optics to wells by creating schematic diagrams, network diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and cable schedules; talking to vendors and receiving quotes; writing appropriate requisitions; and hosting and attending project meetings.•Edited and created AutoCAD drawings based on mark ups, field pictures, and hand drawings for the aforementioned projects and three-line diagrams, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts.•Collected power data from multiple meters in electrical rooms for monthly energy consumption data use.

•Worked on site and completed safety training for hazards including how to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).•Tested relay software in a controlled environment to document ease of use and set up procedures. •Collected data from HMI's for power system studies.•Edited and created AutoCAD drawings based on mark ups and hand drawings, and integrated new numerical organization of AutoCAD drawings.
