As an associate attorney in a full-service law firm, I've gained a plethora of experience in my few months here. From title searches to social security hearings, this experience has been one of the most eye-opening of my life. I have been given the opportunity to represent large clients and indigent individuals which has given me a unique perspective that many don't get to see when they only represent one or the other. Draft pleadings and motions; litigation management.

Although I was hired to work specifically with web development for the Division of Student Life, I quickly started assuming extra responsibility. I helped the other Graduate Assistant in the office with desktop level support and started looking for more efficient ways to do both of our jobs. Soon, many of the departments inside of the Division started asking me to do graphics design and video production for social media projects once they discovered I had a background with digital media. Following my tenure at the University of Tennesse, I was offered a full-time position; however, I chose to pursue an entry-level attorney position in my fiance's hometown.

While working at Tarpy, Cox, Fleishman & Leveille, P.L.L.C., I had the opportunity to do legal research on a myriad of issues including student loan discharge due to false certification, bankruptcy, and property matters.

After taking the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and while waiting to matriculate at the University of Tennessee's College of Law, I also worked for Civitas Media. I did outside sales as a business development specialist in the Tazewell, TN, and Middlesboro, KY markets. In just a few, short months I was able to rehabilitate several delinquent accounts and became the chief revenue generator for the Tazewell market.

After taking the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and prior to matriculation at the University of Tennessee's College of Law, I was given the opportunity to manage a local tax preparation office.I trained several incoming tax preparers for their certification exams alongside the Office Supervisor as well prepared taxes for clients.

While working as a computer support technician (CST) at Lincoln Memorial University, I had the pleasure of assisting faculty, staff, and students with first-level computer support, either by answering the "Help Desk" telephone or by visiting them in person. Additionally, I was tasked with supporting the Sigmon Communications Center, the on-campus television and radio station. There, I had the opportunity to work manning the cameras for various local shows and managing the soundboard for the morning gospels shows on Sunday.I was eventually moved to the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM), the flagship program at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU). There, I had the pleasure of working with the medical students and faculty as their dedicated representative. I worked with Avid and Mediasite to live stream and archive their daily lectures for on-demand consumption. I also helped implement digital signage on campus and developed, negotiated and implemented a plan that gave each student at the J. Frank White Academy (JFWA) their own Apple iPad that contained textbooks and increased classroom interactivity.
