• Designed, built, tested and deployed modular software applications.• Architecture is designed with a service oriented approach to reduce risk and allow the team to release frequently with confidence.• As a subject matter expert I oversaw major enhancements to products enabling them to become resilient and production strength. This included an overhaul of the system in regards to security and user authorisation.• Responsible for producing technical design and specification documents.• Focussed on producing centralised and common applications to be reused across the organisation. This covers performance, usability and experience.• Assisting the organisation through Microsoft consultations in the transition to Azure DevOps (VSTS) that will be used for workflow and task management, automated testing and deployments into the cloud. Will hopefully be stage one of working towards a Dev Ops transition.

Software Engineer tasked with maintaining existing software applications, bug fixing and implementing new developments. Working with a range of technologies on different software applications. This scales from new C# MVC applications, RESTful and WCF Services. The role provides a mixture of client and server side development allowing the ability to stay up to date across the development stack. Follows SOLID principles and TDD. Works with applications that are integrated with SQL Sever and proficient in the use of SQL scripting including stored procedures, views, functions and SQL Agents.
