I am part HR, part finance, and part compliance.If I had to describe being a payroll professional in one word: fulfilling! People go to work for various reasons, with different passions and skill sets, but they all have one thing in common, they NEED TO GET PAID. They rely on me to ensure they receive their pay accurately and timely. Without pay, there would be no people, and without people, there would be no organization. Knowing that my function is the glue that makes the organization possible is fulfilling.Among my co-workers, I am best known for my ability to simplify and document procedures.
