After purchasing an existing coffee shop, I assisted in rebranding and restructuring the company; Including renovating, establishing mission statement, writing Employee Handbook, creating procedures, policies, training programs, cash handling procedures, menu, and operational logistics. Established and maintained financials of the shop, processing invoices, payroll and all expenses, tracked sales, and balanced budget. Built and inspired a team of 20+ capable, motivated and unique individuals to maintain the established culture of the brand and excellent customer service standards. ​Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, I was a part of a small team who coordinated a comprehensive analysis of the overall job satisfaction, productivity and well being of the entire work force. We coordinated a massive digital survey of employees across all levels and locations, we executed hundreds of private interview and hosted multiple town halls and team meetings to identify key areas of conflict and help drive solutions. We provided the board with an executive summary of recommendations from small, easy fixes to large scale cultural shifts and best practices as a company.Air North had grown from 30 Northern Bush Pilots to a large company with a diverse portfolio across the country and hundreds of employees.
