- I am currently working on creating a tool set around Symantec security products to provide a single fully automated security solution. This work entails understanding each product's web service interfaces as well as how each product's databases are designed. - Created the M-GAtES (Mobile-Global Access to Enterprise Systems) platform for iOS. M-GAtES is a mobile Common Access Card (CAC) enabled solution that allows users to securely manage their email and calendar using two way Transport Layer Security (TLS). The application also allows users to sign, encrypt, and decrypt emails on their mobile device using their CAC credentials.- Worked with a team to create a complete rewrite of the DISA Cloud Marketplace. The effort's primary goals were to create a more user-friendly interface, design a well formed and extensible database schema, and develop an agile and extensible code base. In order to allow new developers to quickly pick up the code base, we decided to recreate the site using the Grails framework due to it's convention over configuration paradigm. My primary focus on the project was restructuring the database. This work involved not only following standard database normalization, but also creating scripts for transforming the data from the original schema to the new one. Additionally, I was tasked with helping implement the controllers and interfaces used to interact with the database. I also occasionally designed user interfaces in the web application.

I worked with AMD's Graphics Architecture Modeling group for approximately a year. My primary task was to automate the capture of thousands of tests to be ran on a GPU simulator. I accomplished this goal by creating Python scripts that would pull a test application from a repository, capture a trace from the application at runtime, verify the integrity of the resulting trace, and then check the trace in to a repository. I also wrote Python scripts to handle the initial triage of failing functional tests on the simulator, automatically filing a bug for each cause of failure. During that time I gained insight in to the inner workings of modern GPUs and how performance modelling is currently performed on them.
