Duties:• Establish a base knowledge of vendor accounts: shipping, customer service, points of contact, product line, manufacturing location, costing, terms, allowances, demos, and freight distribution costs.• Establish a base knowledge of Costco: Including Costco’s buying department, infrastructure, distribution, philosophies, costing, and purchase orders.• Enter or verify all purchase orders in a timely manner and review them for accuracy. This includes pricing, terms, lead times, item set up, minimum orders, and double checking l AVIS to verify all orders have been received and entered.• Work closely with the Costco buying team, QA & supplier regarding test documents, packaging requirements, and loading diagrams.• General help wherever needed to assist the Business Manager group and back-up other SSR’s.• Prepare and contribute in sales/vendor meetings and presentations as needed.• Conduct and interpret accurate and timely comp shops.• Create and prepare accurate spreadsheets required for assigned vendors and projects.• Manage import product QC and all testing documents required by item.• Protect customer and vendor’s confidential and proprietary information.
