Working alongside the Curator of Modern Art Elsa Smithgall, I was responsible for all the archival, historical, and theoretical research necessary to develop and produce four major retrospective exhibitions at the museum: Man Ray: African Art and the Modernist Lens (in collaboration with Wendy Grossman); Georgia O'Keeffe: Abstraction; Wassily Kandinsky and the Harmony of Silence: Painting With White Border (in collaboration with the Guggenheim Museum in NYC); and the group exhibition of early twentieth-century Czech photographers such as Jaromir Funke and Vladimir Birgus for Object as Subject: Photographers of the Czech Avant-Garde.

Responsible for conducting undergraduate seminars for Art History majors and minors enrolled in the year-long honors course, Introduction to Nineteenth-Century French Art. Working alongside Professor Lilien Robinson, I undertook the marking of all writing assignments and exams, conducted extra-curricular review sessions, as well as organized excursions to the important collections of French art in Washington, DC (The National Gallery, The Phillips Collection, Hillwood Estate, and The Freer Collection).

During my tenure at the Virginia Samford Theatre I worked across a number of roles, including: as choreographer and Repetiteur for Jerome Robbins' production of Fiddler on the Roof for the 2007 Season; as dance Instructor and Program Coordinator for the VST's STARS Community Outreach Summer Intensive--an 8-week introduction to musical theatre and acting for children ages 12-18 from disadvantaged communities in the Birmingham metropolitan area. Weekly classes culminate in a public performance of original and classic material from the American musical theatre tradition; as choreographer for the Winter 2007 VST Gala Benefit--a fundraising opportunity for the theatre featuring old and new performers gathered to celebrate the history of musical theatre in the Birmingham community.

Performed works by Robert Battle, Jiri Kylian, Mark Morris, Teri Weksler, David Blumenthal, and Jose Limon for the 2006 and 2007 southeastern summer tours, traveling to perform in Atlanta, Charlotte, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Jackson, and Nashville.
