I am, and always have been, a storyteller. My career path to Corporate Communications has roots in community development, education leadership, and playwriting and literary management. I am driven by the believe that powerful results are achieved when effective communication and transformational storytelling cross paths.My career in business communications started by coordinating HR newsletters and writing employee interest stories. I became fascinated by the positive impact sharing stories can have on motivating teams and individuals to celebrate and learn from past experiences, and strive to influence positive change and growth.I love diving deep into the details, then soaring back up to 40,000 feet to tell a sweeping narrative for all audience members. I have a strong bias for preparation and planning for strategic reaction, and enjoy managing competing priorities. My last several years of professional experiences and learning opportunities have included: acquisitions, executive leadership messaging, reorganizations, smoking cessation campaigns, the death of a company founder, crisis communication management, workforce reduction, and product launches.
