Moving into a corporate role has afforded me the chance to impact sales, business development, and the bottom line in a more strategic and all-encompassing way. Directing all marketing activities for the equipment and technology portfolio with 100+ equipment manufactures globally, I identified new trends and brought in new products. My relationship management skills truly came into play here as I would sit down with equipment and technology vendors to create joint marketing plans and determine how to mutually grow business. Here I showcased my ability to recognize emerging technology and bring new products to market. I singlehandedly fought to bring new products into the company’s portfolio, which in return yielded significant incremental sales in the 1st year of sales. Furthermore, this equated to sales in a category that previously did not exist for the company prior.

With a goal of entering the sales realm, I entered Patterson Dental fresh out of college and set forth on a mission to prove myself as a leader in the space and a true business asset. My core role was to drive significant growth inside portfolios while developing, maintaining, and advancing accounts. As I developed a deeper understanding of the Patterson Dental mission and vision, I expanded my knowledge base surrounding the company’s products and services. Some of my core successes included:  Recognized Cerec potential – finished 11th out of 1.2k reps.  Propelled territory growth - $800k to $2M.  “Rookie of the Year” winner in 2002.  Reached $577k in a single month – setting all-time branch record.
