Worked with University of Wyoming public relations officials and members of the media to publicize University news events. Identified and developed media distribution lists, conducted interviews and research for stories, attended press conferences and other media events. Created, edited and distributed press releases, feature stories, sound bites and photographs to local and state newspapers and online. Assisted in the creation of publicity items for other forms of media such as the UWTV news station, UWYO magazine, the university Web site, and local radio productions.

Promoted events, built relationships with donors to encourage repeat contributions, and provided information about the club’s mission, services, and fundraising programs. Created and distributed press releases, feature stories, newsletters, brochures and public service announcements about the CJC, the University Athletic Department's booster club. Promoted and publicized the 2005 Cowboy Joe Club Auction, the club’s primary fundraising event, which set both attendance and fundraising records.
