After campaigning for the position, I led a fantastic committee to organise several events that included an international trip to Berlin. I was jointly responsible for the society accounts with an annual expenditure exceeding £10,000. I negiotated a £200 sponsorship from Haribo UK and organised several events, some in partnership with the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), and a masquerade ball for 160 people in conjunction with representative from the other European language societies.
