Jordan Levy is a versatile filmmaker who has been represented as a cinematographer for over 20 years in commercials, music videos, television and film.Born in New York, Jordan began studying art and photography at an early age, studied Advanced Shakespeare in London, and graduated from the Florida State University Theatrical Directing Program. Starting as a lightning designer for NYC Off-Broadway stage productions, he soon moved to LA and went on to assist some of the most influential directors and cinematographers of the time, including Harris Savides, Tony Kaye, Samuel Bayer and Fernando Meirelles. You can see a mixture of all their influences in Jordan's work, and he is called upon for his expertise in a wide-range of specialty areas, from comedy to visual fx.This year in addition to a number of national commercial campaigns, Jordan shot multiple television series for Netflix, Comedy Central and TruTV, music videos for Katy Perry and Edward Sharpe, and worked with director John Hillcoat to create the live performance visuals for Bob Dylan's Desert Trip Festival performance. He also produced and shot his first documentary feature film, 'Chicago: The Terry Kath Experience', which was featured at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September, and he is looking forward to his next film project.Please visit for select work: www.JordanLevy.com
