BPMW is a Manhattan-based Sales & PR agency that works with some of the top contemporary menswear and womenswear designers. In addition, we produce (capsule) trade show, domestically and internationally, which has garnered much acclaim within the industry. As an intern, we were asked to have an interest in fashion, from the independents to mass market, be a self-starter with a positive, outgoing, can-do attitude, be organized and detail oriented, work in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a high level of efficiency, be proficient with FashionGPS. All of which I came in with or developed while working with them. Also, I helped out with the social media content that was rapidly growing and changing in the industry with platforms such as, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, VLogs, and LinkedIn. The social media aspect of this company is now huge!Responsibilities included handling prospective/current client research, assisting with editor and stylist pulls, sample loan management, formatting and tracking press hits, database management, trade show/event production, showroom upkeep and more.Also with BPMW, I was given the opportunity to work Capsule which was an amazing experience.
