“It Can’t Be Done.” These four words were not allowed in my mother’s household. She is an innovative individual who prefers to spend time adding features some might consider beyond the realm of necessity around her home. From redesigning our home’s interior to creating outdoor living areas, she can see the space in its final form including all the unique and individual aspects that make it her vision. From her, I learned at a young age that anything can be done; she has taught me how to envision a final product and strive toward that goal. Like her, I too do not fall into the category of those who accept what is merely commercially available. I work to make my world, and the tools I use, unique for my applications.Through formal education and self-learning, I have acquired both international and professional experience. Some valuable skills that I have learned through these experiences are collaboration, independence, and fearlessness. Working for various companies has taught me to respect people and processes, and not only to rely on myself, but seek out the opinions of others. Studying abroad taught me to independently explore rather than be guided. In the end, I am able to openly express my opinions and confidently address my fears and doubts. My name is Jordan Moore and I possess development experiences that could primarily be described as Platform Engineering, Developer Advocacy, Solutions Architect, Technical Writer, and Code Monkey. My experiences span MicroServices, Stream Processing, DevOps, BigData, NoSQL, APIs, Integration Patterns, large-scale CI/CD systems, Software Architecture design and review, Android Mobile Development, UI/UX design review, and being very thorough in all manners related to my craft. I bleed in six colors, and let Tears of Catharsis push me harder than I could've ever imagined. I like to imagine I have the foresight & business acumen of Jobs, the streamline-functional-premium- minimalist design-eye of Ives, and stoicism of Cook... But yet think the Apple ecosystem is the technological equivalent to The Berlin Wall.In my free time, I attend financial & investment seminars, play Ultimate Frisbee, always bargain-shopping, and enjoy getting lost in the story of an immersive JRPG, as well as the latest major sci-fi and/or superhero content.During work hours, I enjoy long walks around airport concourses and conference floors, asking the tough questions to the non-engineering sales folk at the booths.Oh, and one more thing — "It" can be done... One minuscule step at a time."Stay hungry. Stay foolish." ✌🏼🍎
