I am responsible for handling the design and development of user-centric digital products for a wide array of industries, including banking, healthcare, education, and retail. I create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that seamlessly integrate strategic discovery. I concurrently develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites. Ultimately, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that provide an enjoyable user experience while increasing engagement and accomplishing brand goals.

As a developer at Strategic Machines I worked with a team focused on redesigning a website for a marketing solution that targeted the consumer product and advertising industries. My scope of responsibility included wireframing, designing, coding and testing the redesigned site. Ultimately I was tasked with crafting efficient, engaging web pages that relayed a brand’s purpose and offerings through visual storytelling and interactive design.

My role as a Project Manager at Classic included working with retail and financial clients to gain insight into their marketing collateral needs and transition any print requests into the production workflow. I was tasked with learning the operations of each department within the company in order to successfully monitor the path of jobs as they entered into the CRM, traveled through various methods of production, and shipped to clients within time-sensitive deadlines.

Charlotte, North Carolina

Working as a Graphic Designer on the Family Dollar account for Classic involved designing and finalizing all in-store signage displayed in Family Dollar stores. Responsibilities included working with project managers to develop concepts and provide sample designs that could be critiqued and refined to meet expectations, as well as preparing finalized signage for print. A strong understanding of both design principles and prepress specifications were required in order for the role to be successful. Ancillary responsibilities included developing ideas to optimize operations and automate processes.

Clemson, South Carolina

My responsibilities as a Prepress Artist included gathering and organizing art files from customers in addition to laying out art and adding technical specifications to templates for flexographic printing. This required an eye for detail to ensure all copy, trappings, and color settings were up to specification. I also designed logos and posters which were implemented in-office and on a corporate level. Peripheral opportunities included shadowing product photo shoots, learning Python, and designing a set for company photos.

Columbia, South Carolina Area

As a Prepress Intern, I designed customer-requested artwork and prepared art to be printed on a large format digital press. Being proficient in Adobe creative applications, as well as understanding RIP software, were both essential in completing these tasks. This work honed my ability to communicate with customers about their expectations and deliver multiple iterations of ideas until a job was complete. I was also accountable for printing jobs on a large format digital press and operating a flatbed cutter used to cut out custom artwork for customers.
