I completed my AA in liberal arts and environmental science, graduating with honors from DMACC. While at DMACC, I was the environmental science club president, circulations manager for the school's publication, a member of the student's activity council, and on the earth week committee.I graduated with honors in studio arts and graphic design from Grand View University Spring 2017 where I served as vice president for AIGA’s student branch. I accepted a full-time position at Firetrucker Brewery as an artist and graphic designer Summer 2017. I became Firetrucker Breweries sole full-time artist & designer January 2018. Since I have worked on creating branding standards, and unifying the brand. I worked on redesigning and rebranding, along with an emphasis on current design trends including video and animation, social media presence, and working with a team to create a new website. I started working towards my Master's of Fine Art degree at Iowa State in 2021, in Integrated Visual Arts. During this time I won multiple awards of excellence from the Art Director Association of Iowa. Iowa State bought a piece from a juried show for their permanent collection. One of my pieces in the juried Octagonal show received the painting award. My artwork was selected for the cover and was most of the artwork including in Sketch literary journal. I'm currently teaching Exploration in Art at Iowa State, and Digital Art at Lindenwood University. I'm assisting with prop and set design for ISU's Fall production. I'm preparing for the thesis defense and exhibition in October. I can't wait to see what adventures come next!
