After growing up in a cult and getting kicked out of my house at 13, my eyes were finally open to the incredible world around me. I found a passion for endless education and selfless service, and I've been making some incredible friends along the way. I discovered Emergency Medical Services in high school by becoming an Explorer at Austin-Travis County EMS, and that lit a fire inside of me. Today, I serve the city I was born in as a Field Paramedic for ATCEMS, and I also get to lead the same Explorer Post that first introduced me to EMS. I additionally serve on the Board of Directors of the Austin EMS Association, representing over 500 incredible medics who work at the finest EMS agency in the nation.I am currently working to obtain a bachelor's degree, complete medical school prerequisite classes, and pursue career advancement within ATCEMS through the many internal opportunities available to the medics here.I have experience in Prehospital Emergency Medicine, Youth Leadership, Project Management, Web Design and Development, Marketing, and Content Creation.
