Jordan Oliver is an alumna of Longwood University and a graduate of Gannon University, where she obtained a master's degree in speech-language pathology. During her educational career, she has gained experience working with the pediatric population through her work and volunteer experiences. She has developed and demonstrates competency across a broad spectrum of skills such as Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), early intervention, fluency, developmental disorders, motor speech disorders, language development, feeding therapy, articulation disorders, interprofessional collaboration, parent training, diversity and inclusion, cultural humility, and individualized Education Program (IEP). Jordan is currently a school-based SLP at Rimes Early Learning Center, where she provides therapy to students ages Prek-2nd. She has always had a strong interest in working as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, especially working with younger populations and their families in early intervention. She is passionate about being part of a collaborative team to maximize children's outcomes. This aligns with her belief that therapy goals can be achieved by investing in children and their families, which will close gaps in communication, academic skills, and community connection so the child can grow to their full potential.
