Hi Hi! My name is Jordan!I am a rising junior at Tulane University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish and Portuguese, I bring a strong academic background and diverse practical experience that aligns well with policy, research, outreach, and communications.My previous roles have honed my skills in various relevant areas. As an intern at R2 Companies in Chicago, I researched commercial real estate opportunities extensively, presenting findings through detailed reports and presentations. This experience sharpened my research and analytical skills and my proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.In my role as a Reproductive Justice Intern at Women With A Vision in New Orleans, I actively engaged in outreach activities, including canvassing and voter registration programs. This position required a high level of organization, communication, and dedication to community engagement.As a proud member and leader in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the world’s first Black Greek-letter sorority, I have led and hosted several service events. I was also selected to be part of the 45th cohort of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Leadership Fellows, further developing my leadership and organizational skills.As the former Communications Chair for the Tulane Black Student Union, I developed and implemented content across various media platforms to promote events and encourage community participation. This experience is directly relevant to supporting external engagement initiatives and managing social media content.Currently, I am an intern in the real estate department at DLA Piper, one of the world’s leading firms. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences in a career in law, where I can continue to make a meaningful impact.
