Responsible for supporting day-to-day activities of the project management office in coordination with the Director of the PMO. Includes assisting with resource management, workload distribution, project prioritization, and productivity/metric monitoring. Operate as a front-line organizational liaison connecting IT, facilities/hospitals/clinics, and other Centura operational groups to assist with developing and implementing technical solutions. Also maintain a clear understanding of the strategic direction of Centura Health and work closely with other leaders to ensure consistency of support for enterprise initiatives. Other Duties:• Identify new opportunities for process, system, and staff improvements. Encourage critical problem solving and independent thinking amongst the PMO team. • Act as initial point of escalation for team-related and project/program-related issues and questions.• Operate as a change agent for the team by generating excitement for new initiatives and projects. • Provide continual mentorship of staff in areas of technical and professional development. • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Project Management Office . • Develop and utilize project management standards and tools to lead IT projects by setting direction, coordinating activities across varied organizational functions, evaluating progress towards objectives, and implementing mitigation plans if progress and\or scope become as risk. • Communicate status of portfolios, programs and projects between staff, management, and stakeholders • Conduct periodic auditing of PPM system standards and compliance

Responsible for planning and managing the delivery of IT projects in support of Centura Health’s strategic and operational objectives. Includes all aspects of project lifecycle from initial proposal to design, build, test, delivery, and implementation. Serve as an expert in coordinating project proposals, assembling project teams, project definition, assigning and tracking individual responsibilities and project resources, risk identification, project schedule development, setting deadlines, monitoring / managing budgets to ensure coordination and timely completion of assigned projects and all other aspects of project management. Also develop and mentor Project Managers/Project Coordinators as well as other non-PMO associates.Additional role details include:- Lead multiple large and complex projects or initiatives across the Centura Health enterprise. - Manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously - Expertly utilize project and portfolio management tools such as dedicated PPM - Act as a liaison between end-user (Entity, facility, physician practice, clinic, nursing home, business unit, department, or other facility), the entire IT department and the applicable vendors/contractors/consultants during all project phases- Maintain a leadership role within the IT PMO assisting executive leadership team in developing and improving governance- Collaborate within IT PMO and within Centura Health as a whole to improve upon established processes and procedures.
