About Jordy Kuiper

I was born and raised in the Netherlands but am currently on a journey that has taken me all over the world. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 9 and have used this adversity to fuel my drive and passion for the game of basketball to achieve my goals and dreams in life, while also trying to inspire as many others as possible to do the same along the way.I have been an active and dedicated ambassador and spokesperson for numerous Diabetic Foundations all over the globe while also being passionately involved with various local community and support services. Trying to be the living example that no one and nothing should be able to prevent you from achieving what you want in life.
