Our vission is a world without type 1 diabetes, while our mission is to accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications- Create and maintain external communications including: social media, printed materials, chapter website updates, monthly newsletter, and emails to constituents.- Manage general chapter public relations, media requests, and press releases.- Maintain communication between chapter and JDRF National to coordinate marketing communications, social media, and website. - Participate and contribute to strategy for cultivation and stewardship events including: RSVP tracking, venue logistics and planning, invitation design, and follow up. - Manage a team of volunteers who help to develop best chapter communication practices. -Develop and serve as point of contact for the Marketing Calendar to ensure all communications are timed appropriately. -Collaborate with development team to coordinate and execute special events including Gala, Catwalk and Peace Love Cure, while working closely with volunteers to ensure they are successful and supported in their fundraising efforts. -Coordinate logistics for each location for our annual One Walk- Norwalk, CT, Danbury, CT, Yonkers, NY and Milton, NY.

For more than 50 years, ArtsWestchester has been the community’s connection to the arts.Over the years, ArtsWestchester has become one of the most important funders in Westchester County for cultural institutions, as well as for emerging arts organizations, community-based arts groups and artists. It is the County’s designated agency, responsible for the distribution of funds allocated for the arts. ArtsWestchester’s mission is to provide leadership, vision, and support to ensure the availability, accessibility, and diversity of the arts. ArtsWestchester provides programs and services that enrich the lives of everyone in Westchester County. It helps fund concerts, exhibitions and plays through grants; brings artists into schools and community centers; advocates for the arts; and builds audiences through diverse marketing initiatives.I was invited by Miriam Bernabei, Director of Arts, Music and Special Programs for Greenburgh School District 7, to facilitate a vocal workshop at Woodlands High School. During weekly visits to the school, I advised 9th-12th grade students on proper techniques to improve their performance. I analyzed students strengths and opportunities for growth to then created engaging lesson plans related to the student’s musical interests. I collaborated with the chorus instructor to effectively administer a curriculum that aided in concert and NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) preparations.

I also helped prepare the company for annual audits through a myriad of tasks related to data entry. Lastly, I coordinated the office relocation from Greenwich, CT to Stamford, CT.

We envision a community of Greater Boston where the performing arts are a valued, life-long, shared experience - on stages, in schools, in homes - everywhere.I maintained and organized donor databases by updating donor files in Tessitura. I frequently assisted with departmental mailings. I also performed basic prospect research and ran reports for Development staff, provided support for special events as needed and attended performances and special events to provide departmental support as needed.

The scope of the Berklee Fund is impressive, yet it’s perfectly aligned with the range of urgent needs that the world’s leading college of contemporary music is ideally suited to address. Whether it’s music education or music therapy; institutes dedicated to music performance or music entrepreneurship; or initiatives such as making higher education more affordable and accessible, only one college of music excels in all of these areas.I was a part of a team of students who called alumnus parents of current students to update them about the positive direction the school was moving towards. During a call, we confirmed/updated their demographic information, as well as build rapport as part of our goal of fostering positive and long-lasting relationships with alumni, parents, and friends. We asked for donations to help increase funds for Scholarship money for students and often gave financial advice to parents and answered questions in regards to the college.
