Recruit and train schools and volunteers to participate in the JA Finance Park, JA Job Shadow, and JA Reverse Job Shadow programs. As the volunteer coordinator, it is my duty to maintain a calendar of over 350 volunteer events every school year. I work directly with local companies to source over 5500 volunteers for our programs, or work with the community to gain new supporters for our organization. I handle all communications around volunteerism and represent JA by attending volunteer fairs, recruitment workshops, and community engagement events. I also research potential avenues to gain additional volunteer support and find new ways for our organization to give back to the community.

My responsibilities included to maintain a client satisfaction rating of 80% or higher, complete quality repairs in 48 hours or less, and meet a daily revenue goal for Geek Squad services. I was also responsible for hiring, on-boarding, training, and coaching all Geek Squad employees. I supported the store in payroll processing, bank deposits, and complicated client interactions. I was also the trainer for new Geek Squad Managers in the area. My department was used as a test location for new corporate Geek Squad initiatives such as client reservations, Total Tech Support, and Samsung mobile phone repair due to our consistency in performance metrics.

As the senior repair technician, I was responsible for all in-store computer repairs such as data retrieval, hardware replacements, virus removals, and operating system repairs. I would regularly interact with clients to offer advice or education about their devices, or process their paperwork if the other agents were with clients. I monitored all department-related metrics such as client satisfaction, repair time and quality, and daily revenue. I also visited other Best Buy locations to assist with interviewing and training new employees.
