Jordyn Wilson is the Director of Community Engagement at the Connecticut Justice Alliance (CTJA). In this role, she works to ensure that the voices of those most impacted by the legal system are integrated into policy, practice, and reform decisions. Jordyn is committed to building opportunity-rich communities where families and youth have the resources and support they need to thrive, advocating for equitable access to services.Previously, she served as a Community Connections Associate and Justice Advisor with CTJA, leading Vision Sessions—roundtable discussions with directly impacted youth, families, and communities—to identify solutions for reforming or replacing systems that contribute to youth criminalization. She also worked to empower young leaders, helping them transform their lived experiences into powerful advocacy.Jordyn's prior experience includes serving as the Youth Justice Campaign Associate at The Sentencing Project, as well as holding leadership roles such as an Emerging Leaders Committee Member with the Coalition for Juvenile Justice and a Youth First Youth Leaders Network Member with the Youth First Initiative.In her free time, Jordyn enjoys working out, spending time with family, and embracing her role as a mom to her 2-year-old son, Kaari.Jordyn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Justice & Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University as a first generation college student.
