About Jordyn White

I am a visionary leader, published researcher, and decorated athlete with over two decades of experience in social service, research methodology, social justice, and public education. I am deeply connected in the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and female athlete communities in Washington, D.C., and nothing excites me more than when I get to show up at the intersection of those groups.I received the Outstanding Contribution to LGBTQ+ Life Award in 2024 from the Federation of Gay Games, the GLMA Achievement Award in 2021 for my National Academies study on the Wellbeing of LGBTQ+ populations, the Team D.C. Trailblazer Award in 2014 for co-founding the Washington Prodigy women's tackle football team, and in 2017 I won a gold medal with the U.S. National women's tackle football team.At the Human Rights Campaign, I oversee programs focused on transgender justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion on HBCU campuses, HIV prevention and PrEP access, and enhancing knowledge and leadership capabilities within the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community. I also manage and provide strategic oversight for our public education and research program.
