In the final semester of my time at WGU, I joined T5K as a Generalist and was immersed in a variety of tasks. Since obtaining my Bachelor's Degree, I was extended an offer to remain with T5K as a technological specialist, handling every aspect of the startup's hardware and software based needs. As the company's technological specialist, I assembled a panel of potential software/hardware configurations for our foray into multimedia production and was responsible for implementing them in such a way as to remove the technological burden from creators so they could focus their skills on what they do best. I also was singlehandedly responsible for the development of multiple storefronts, including the LAFashionVault Shopify store (which was also a brand redesign/overhaul) and the LeafCo WooCommerce store. In addition to handling the complete creation of stores, I have redesigned WordPress sites for affiliated influencers and in-house projects. The other significant portion of my responsibilities has been centered around coding. As a startup company, T5K had a variety of potential applications they wanted built, but didn't know where to start. I took the reins on project development, first vetting the ideas for short-term feasibility, then creating prototypes. In the 6 months I have worked for T5K I have made roughly a half-dozen prototypes, garnering valuable experience in full-stack web application development and native application development for Windows, Mac, and Linux, namely using React, MongoDB, Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, C++, JUCE, Tracktion Engine, Tensorflow, PythonAnywhere, BeeWare, and a variety of packages and APIs. In addition to my experience with multiple technological competencies, I have been a tutor part-time for the last 5 years, 3 of which have been exclusively remote sessions. I prepare students for standardized tests, mainly APs and the SAT, along with college students. This has bolstered my ability to relate to, teach, and learn from others, even with a physical distance.
