As a solo entrepreneur I have had the great opportunity to work in several major multi-national companies in different roles depending of their needs.At UNIBROKERS S.A., I started as IT consultant, provided regular tech support for end users. Improved their connectivity solutions, their email solutions and their cloud storage solutions. Now, acting as IT manager together with the company leadership we have moved away from our own infrastructure and open source software solutions to a cloud based suite that I have customized to the smallest detail to provide full coverage of the company workflow.At OLX Autos S.A.S., I started out as IT consultant, and provided technical support services to a team of over 90 people. Managed the connectivity solutions and facilitated operations, connectivity and communications as we transitioned to home office during the pandemic. It was an amazing experience to work with a big team of talented people and see the company grow from a handful of people to one of the most important companies in the local automotive sector.At Grupo Petrotech, I provide IT outsourcing services, I provide technical support and guidance, I have also solved many of the company's requirements regarding connectivity, e-mail and collaboration. I also managed the transition from a small accounting software to SAP business one.I have provided IT support services to several other companies such as Plusvalia.com, Linio Ecuador, Multitrabajos.com, Protrauma, Payjoy SAS.

As my first job, I got to work with a great team of individuals. We managed to transform the network of a small WISP from a home brewed network nightmare to a standards based scalable network with a MPLS/IP core and a MetroEthernet access layer.We solved the problem overlapping routed internet data links were customer traffic would cross the public network with IPSEC/GRE based tunnels which were later replaced by per customer VLANs for data links, and finally we transitioned to to MPLS VPNs.I moved away from delegated IP address space to a company owned autonomous system and several dozen prefixes. Implemented multi-homed BGP between the company and upstream providers and local IXPs. After that we were no longer tied to a single service provider.I replaced several webmin based e-mail servers that hosted customer e-mails with a cluster of Zimbra servers protected by a strong antispam solution (Spamtitan). Managed to reduce spam levels drastically and avoided being listed as spammers ever again.I consolidated more than a dozen in-house built servers with various applications into a vritualized environment powered by VMware ESXi.
