I have been working with languages (Spanish and English) for 15 years: as a translator, teacher, trainer, recruiter, academic coordinator.I am currently focused on running my own translation & localization agency, Nice Try. Our main work is translating specialized documents (technical, legal, scientific and financial); as well as doing localization for software and webpages. We also offer online, personalised English classes for professionals. I have over 10 years' experience as a freelance EN<>ES translator, something which I have done while also developing my career as a teacher and academic coordinator in Madrid. I have extensive experience in the EFL/ ESL education sector, not only from an academic point of view but also with regards to HR (teacher searches and recruitment) and business management, since I have been a part of the process which has seen The Green Monkey Franchises grow from a local start-up company to become a nationwide franchise network in Spain.In my 5 tears as an Academic Director/ Coordinator with The Green Monkey, I worked training and coordinating teachers of multiple languages ​​(English, French, German) in addition to robotics and technology.During the COVID 19 crisis, I developed an online class system that is currently one of the key tools in The Green Monkey's educational program.Regarding my qualifications, I have a Diploma in English Literature & Philology and a Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies. I also have a Cambridge University CELTA certificate accrediting me as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language.I am bilingual by birth: Spanish-English.
