EDITOR IN CHIEF (MAY 2018 - JULY 2019)In charge of overseeing every section of the Daily Nexus school newspaper and making sure daily content gets put up.SPORTS EDITOR (JAN. 2016-APR. 2018)As an editor, my responsibilities were to assign sports to writers, make sure every writer was on top of their weekly previews/recaps, edit those, and make sure they got up onto the website timely.On top of that, I also personally have authored 189 articles to this point and will continue to do so over this final year. These articles range from previews/recaps of sports, in-depth feature articles, columns and blogs.Lastly, I was responsible for using InDesign to produce our weekly print issue. As a SID intern for the men's tennis team my responsibilities include updating all the players' profiles, updating the statistics, communicating with the NCAA and ITA Tennis to make sure rankings are up to date and write many pieces, 59 to date, such as previews/recaps/profiles and features.

I would make sure to ready legal documents specifically how certain lawyers would want them whether that be burning the files on a disc, printing out all the documents or simply emailing all of them once received and thourougly checked to make sure everything is fine. I also drive around locations in Santa Barbara and pick up important documents and report them back to headquarters in a timely manner.

Tutored elementary school kids in math, social sciences, science, writing, and reading in order to help the teacher in the classroom. Have also set up special activities such as fun, thinking games in order to help the kids interact more with learning and to have fun while doing so.
