I am looking after the line, equipment and process standards to assemble and test Engines and Transmissions globally meeting the corporate requirements of quality and productivity.

Managing manufacturing planning activities for the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Engine group and evaluating and approving manufacturing processes.Overseeing the planning and implementation of major process changes and manufacturing expansion projects.Managing and directing the planning and development of manufacturing feasibility for engine systems.Planning and coordinating issue identification, root cause analysis and the implementation of issue resolution actions.Following up equipment design and build with suppliers to achieve corporate targets; such as cost, reliability, quality and timing. Overseeing corrective actions on all quality issues.

Managing manufacturing planning activities for the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME ) Engine group and evaluating and approving manufacturing processes for teh Dundee Engine Plant.Overseeing the planning and implementation of major process changes and manufacturing expansion projects in both the Fire and teh WGE/Tigersahrl plants located in Dundee Mi.Managing and directing the planning and development of manufacturing feasibility for engine systems.Planning and coordinating issue identification, root cause analysis and the implementation of issue resolution actions.Following up equipment design and build with suppliers to achieve corporate targets; such as cost, reliability, quality and timing. Overseeing corrective actions on all quality issues.

Managing and controling technical, financial and human resources related to the engine process design and development including machinery, gages and facilities. Final implementation and start up of the all Engine Programs assigned to the Chysler de Mexico operations. Implementing the World Class Manufacturing and state of the art technologiies in teh new engine programs in complinance with Chrysler Corporate standards and guidelines. Managing and directing all activities to get the engine project implemented whithin approved reosurces and time frame.

Management, administration and coordination of the facilities and activities involved with technical, financial and human resources , to achieve the development and implementation of investment projects Code 1 and 3 (Eagle, HEV, Apache, Phoenix), in time and within the approved funds.These projects contain major changes to the process and product, and needed the incorporation of these new models in the existing lines, using new and modern technologies, ensuring the implementation of new corporate standards, as well as the necessary adjustments to processes and equipment to improve or maintain the ability and capacity of CDM plants.Coordinate the design criteria and the development of the various disciplines of engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, control, conveyors, pneumatics, piping, etc.) involved in obtaining adequate equipment for the development of the projects for the Saltillo Engine Plants: Eagle, HEV, Apache & Phoenix. To participate in the simultaneous engineering for the development of new products such as the Eagle, HEV, Apache & Phoenix Engines caring both commonization and / or simplification of the components, as well as the flexibility of production lines to optimize the use of capacity the plant.

Manage and supervise machinery and equipment construction. Supervise machinery and equipment installation. Promote and implement improvements in current Cylinder Head Machining and sub-assembly processes (5.7L. 6.1L, 2.0L & 2.4L programs). Lead the team personnel and promote their personal development.
