eApp Dynamics 365 Platform California Dept. of Health Care Analysis and Information HCAI is replacing its former health grant system by leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. The new grant management system, eApp, supports the application, eligibility determination, and funding source management for over 20 grant programs administered by OSHPD. It allows users to submit applications and store all of their supplemental documents online and is designed in a manner that is both user friendly and intuitive. The system manages all the financial aspect of grant management, including payment processing and accounting. Based on Dynamics 365, the new eApp provides a modern look and feel web portal for both individual and businesses to apply for and see grants they are eligible for. The eApp also provides unprecedented access to reporting and analytic tools, providing real-time updates on applications, eligibility, and funding drawdown trends. In particular, the new system eliminates the data duplication issues that were reported by users of the former system. County Expense Claims Reporting Information System (CECRIS) CA. Dept of Social Services (CDSS) The objective of CECRIS is to develop and implement an automated solution that replaces the current Administrative and Assistance claim systems and processes. The project conducts optimization and streamlining of the existing end-to-end claiming processes, consolidate and centralize at least five legacy systems, and implement and support them with a Dynamics 365 CRM solution. The CECRIS system serves two major user groups, State employees at the CA Dept. of Social Services and County Welfare Department employees in all 58 counties reporting as 63 separate entities to CECRIS. CECRIS will be replacing legacy systems which consisted of a Visual FoxPro application, MS Access databases, MS Excel spreadsheets, and extensive manual workarounds. Implemented a mechanism to synchronize data between Dynamics 365 and SQL Data Server in Azure using Azure Functions to improve reports creation. Configure and customize Dynamics 365 to support plugin registration. Configure and customize Azure assets to support data synchronization and reporting tools. Auto Body Survey Rate Tool  California Department of Insurance  The Auto Body Labor Rate Survey Tool was developed to assist the Department of Insurance in facilitating their collection of annual auto body rate data surveys conducted by the insurance industry. The application generates prevailing rate calculations of local body shops. The project is a custom ASP.NET solution with an SQL back-end and MVC presentation layer rendering and geotagging. The project was implemented using an Agile methodology and test-driven development process. Implemented modern DevOps workflow using Jenkins as an automation server to provide continuous integration and delivery using command line and Azure tools so that automated build, test, and deployment jobs are run with each code commit. Participated in agile ceremonies estimating user story efforts and contributed to backlog management. Designed and Implemented unit tests for both the backend and frontend of the application. As Sr. Software Engineer, Mr. Levy is responsible of the interpretation of the requirements provided by Business Analysis team for its coding in ASP.NET MCV 5 with SQL Server in a Web Client-Server architecture: Refactorization for the authentication and authorization features of the system using ASP.NET Identity with; Forms Authentication and Windows Authentication with Active Directory Codification of web forms to capture the data for the applications from the external and internal users.
