When I was first introduced to the Internet in 1994 I knew I found something that would keep me entertained for years to come. Since then I have had the chance to be involved in a variety of projects.I was one of the first employees for a start-up ISP in Michigan (which is still in business as of 2020). I also spent a fair amount of time as a consultant, working with customers on their networking, security and Linux needs.Afterwards I worked for Logistics company as their network, security, voip (and some storage). Then I got to experience the craziness of the financial world by working for a FOREX (Foreign Exchange Market) company; being responsible for things when milliseconds count is nerve racking.Now I work for a global automotive company in their SOC department. My main focus is coming up with ways to make sense of the vast amount of information generated by the different systems.
