As product owner of Ons Medicatie, I'm responsible for streamlining our product development with the demands and wishes of our customers and sales engineers, and supporting the development team with organisational matters like planning and prioritisation.

As part of the team behind Ons Medicatie, I work on a solution enabling professionals in the care sector to work together with regard to the administration of (complex) medication.Ons Medicatie is not just a single product. It is an idea to integrate pharmaceutical care into the electronic care dossier of clients in the care sector, enabling care professionals and clients to provide and receive even better care through easier cooperation and information exchange. To that end, we are not only developing new products, but also working with national organisations aimed at standardisation of health care information. My role entails product development, collaboration with (national) organisations and coaching.

As part of one of the scrum teams of Ons Administratie, my work entails maintaining and enhancing the mayor administrative application of the Ons line of products. Next to my work for Ons Administratie, I also work on developing Ons Benchmark, an application aimed at providing healthcare institutions with relevant data to support high level decision making processes.

As part of the Nedap University Trainee program, I followed courses to improve my software engineering skills while also working in one of the scrum teams of Ons Administratie.The courses where a collaboration between Nedap and the universities of Twente and Eindhoven, designed for a broad understanding of multiple areas of software engineering. My work as a member of the scrum teams entailed bug fixing and developing new features for Ons Administratie, the main backend application of the Ons line of products.
