About Josalyn Mcclew

Current fourth year student at Gonzaga University pursuing a double major in Criminology and Sociology with minors in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies and Political Science. I am passionate teaching future generations about the role race and ethnicity play at the local governmental level in regards to the criminalization of marginalized identities. My research and academic interests lie primarily in juvenile delinquency patterns and life post incarceration. With 5+ years of group leadership experience, I am passionate about fostering a positive and healthy environment for people to learn and understand the lasting effects of racial stereotypes in regards to crime and punishment.
