Initiating and implementing the iLAB method, focused on (technological) innovation processes. Specifically aim to inspire breakthroughs, support in the creative process, and ensure that great ideas are tested early, quickly developed and brought to the right place in the organisation. I am responsible for designing, implementing and further developing iLAB. I thereby connect with the relevant (strategical) internal and external partners. Furthermore, I facilitate innovation processes & sessions in various areas (data, biotech, etc.), organise events (e.g. hackathon), create pitches & videos, etc.

Third project: focused on the question ‘why, what and how to organize innovation at Enza Zaden, and I&D specifically?’ Required a very thorough cross-functional analysis, for which I constantly needed to align a wide range of internal stakeholders, and balance their needs and wishes. Identifying, stimulating and implementing concrete steps in this dynamic landscape required putting emphasis on collaboration, communication, and change management in general. I also contributed to translating the group and departmental strategy into (annual) plans of action for the Data Lab, specifically representing the innovation perspective.Second project: study, document and improve the way of working at ICT. Again creating and leading the project, but now working remotely. Worked in close collaboration with the management team as well as with representatives from all teams within ICT. Focus on processes, services, and collaborations. Positive evaluation of deliverables, including a complete ICT service catalogue.First project: what is work stress at I&D, and how can we address it? Creating and leading this project, thereby staying in contact with a great variety of stakeholders. These include employees from the I&D department, MT, working group, HR, external health advisors, etc. Evaluation showed that awareness of stress at work increased, and people now feel more freedom to discuss the topic. We also improved our meeting etiquette, the way in which we make agreements, and our communication with the customer. Colleagues really appreciated that we translated an abstract topic into concrete action.

Working on various tasks for the innovation management courses at the School of Business and Economics. Collaborating with teachers and employees from KIN, supporting them with educational and academic activities.

In this role, I wrote a thesis on valuation of new technologies in the plant breeding industry. This required me to work independently in a multi-disciplinary environment, applying my knowledge on the process of science-to-business conversion to an actual business case. The complete project has ultimately been given the grade 9.0
