• Implementation and execution of supply management through the use of several forecasting models (risk averse, just-in-time) through MRP automation and manual forecasting. • Develop procurement agreement activities by forecasting needs, identifying relevant regulations, drafting agreements for review and approval, maintaining communication with those involved externally and internally, and administering change orders.• Supervises and oversees the management of SMUD's material master data, including terminology, commodity type (UNSPSC), material status, material part numbers, specifications, forecasting types, reorder point, safety stock, accounting data, quality management, and other data categories.• Collaborates with Warehouse Operations Leadership to support logistics needs, including planning, scheduling, and mitigating 3rd party contractor material deliveries, inventory count execution and reconciliation, and inventory management.• Creates and executes requisitions for sourcing, extending, increasing funding, and contract changes for materials, services, and equipment contracts supporting Warehouse Operations.• Perform material and coordination activities by drafting and placing orders on behalf of user departments; reconcile inventory of materials and equipment; arrange for the disposition of materials and equipment; assist in the development of metrics; create, update, and maintain material master records and related reports.

Store Operations: Collaborate with Store Manager, Department Supervisors, and other Assistant Managers in the day-to-day operations of store. Oversee merchandising specialty departments to ensure successful execution of core programs, drive sales, promote customer service, and support associate development. Partner with Store Manager to develop strategies and objectives to drive sales and profitability while adhering to store in-stock and appearance standards. Merchandising | Inventory Management: Coordinate merchandising maintenance (inventory control, product merchandising, special orders) for multiple departments. Ensure accurate order creation, processing, and fulfillment of all special orders and installation orders. Identify and analyze trends to drive department profitability. Set department sales goals, develop strategies, and monitor performance. Collaborate with Merchandising and Home Services field teams to ensure proper maintenance, merchandising, and organization of displays and store events. Personnel Management: Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified associates. Supervise, lead, train, and develop Associates to meet set sales goals and ensure compliance with customer service standards. Oversee Associates in delivery of exceptional customer service and ensure all customer concerns are solved effectively and promptly. Evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions, including work allocation, training, development, performance management, problem resolution, discipline, and termination.
