CurrentResponsible for all aspects of implementing and deploying to a user base of over 800 doctors in Louisiana for the EMPOWERx program, an electronic medical records system and e-prescribing solution for Medicaid doctors.Coordinate logistics and scheduling of training and consulting services for doctors interested in EMPOWERx.Design and create all content, as well as produce training videos for an online computer based training solution.Responsible for quality assurance and beta testing of new software. This includes conducting field trials with existing users and documenting their needs, their desire for changes in the user interface, as well as documenting any bugs which may exist. Create various procedure manuals to document troubleshooting steps, as well as procedures taken to fix common errors encountered within the program and its hardware.Install software, consult with hospital IT departments, and set up PDA hardware for use by doctors in hospitals and medical offices.Troubleshoot and fix system problems related to the EMPOWERx application, its mobile PDAs, and the computers to which they connect.
