Legal Assistant
Current- Interact with clients and other parties, building relationships with them via phone and email.
- Maintain and update case management systems, relationship management systems, document management systems, and other mission-critical systems.
- Manage calendars by scheduling appointments, posting tasks and deadlines, and ensuring the firm's and team's calendars remain accurate and organized in a logical and efficient manner.
- Handle communications by receiving and delivering emails and voicemails, ensuring copies of messages are documented in the firm's files (paper, electronic, or both).
- Interact with courts and administrative agencies regarding hearings, motions, and other appearances, serving as the firm’s primary point of contact with courts for all administrative and scheduling matters.
- Prepare and send legal correspondence as directed by attorneys, finalizing documents initially drafted by them, ready for delivery to courts, clients, co-counsel, and opposing attorneys.
