Hello, I’m first generation student undergrad student at University of Houston studying computer science. I consider myself someone who is a lifelong learner, and seek opportunities with companies that nurture continuous growth. My journey originally started at UT Austin where I received a bachelors degree in Psychology. With this I understood the importance of open communication with one another and the difference a conversation can make in the lives of others and ourselves. After graduation I realized that while the medical field was not for me, the joy I receive from solving complex problems is something I want to continue experiencing in my career. This is where I found Computer Science to be a much better fit for me, it allows me the opportunity to continuous learn new things and improve my overall skills. Through my learning I have become proficient in Python, C++, Java, SQL, and industry standard practices such as Agile. I am continuously expanding my expertise in this field, currently engaged in learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am highly motivated to pursue growth and extract valuable insights from each experience, with the intention of fostering positive change within my future work environment.
