Serve as the principal executive and key advisor to the Director and Deputy Commander for Clinical Services in the administration and management of the Primary Care Service Line (PCSL) at the largest Hospital in Regional Health Command- Atlantic. I develop and sustain strategies for productive, efficient, and financially sustainable high reliability organization (HRO). I have responsibility for business operations of 9 outlying clinics including a family medicine residency program, 144 providers, over 800 personnel in multiple healthcare professional disciplines. I am well versed in the administrative complexity of highly specialized professionals and support staff. I have management oversight in policy development, operations and compliance that directly impact the reliability of our organization in providing healthcare to 127,000 beneficiaries and delivering 450,000 thousand encounters per year. I represent the PCSL at the 3SL Team Leaders committee, Patient Safety FMT, Medication Management FMT, System for Health Council Meeting, The Joint Commission committee, National Council for Quality Assurance committee, and Process Improvement Committee. My duties, authorities and responsibilities require excellent coordination and incorporation of PCSL programs. Limited numbers of staff that work numerous programs require significant and extensive coordination and integration, therefore, a large part of my job is to identify, write and integrates PCSL policy that affects contingency planning, to include those involving financial, organizational, and administrative, requirements. I allocate resources required for specific projects/prioritize objectives; and formulate policy and long range strategic planning in connection with future changes. I interview candidates for positions, make selections, recommend promotion, reassignments or disciplinary action. I work with the local union chapter representatives to resolve complaints from employees and group grievances.

As the Group Practice Manager I assume all administrative, supervisory, and operative oversight duties for a stand-alone primary care clinic with an outpatient pharmacy, laboratory, and behavioral services supporting over 8,400 Army beneficiaries, and 37 assigned staff of physicians, nurses, administrative, and laboratory and pharmacy staff offsite the Fort Bragg Installation within the Fayetteville Community. I ensure the efficient functioning of the Community Based Medical Home (CMBH). Provides leadership and guidance to the CMBH staff and prioritizes clinic activities and directs administrative operations to achieve and exceed revenue and expense objectives. Direct responsibility for budget, civilian personnel, purchasing and contracting, resource management, logistics, equipment and equipment life cycle, travel and information management for the CMBH. I plans, direct, analyze and coordinate administrative requirements pertaining to the strategic, tactical and operational mission of the CMBH. Oversee all integration of administrative and clinical functions and ensures policies, procedures, and clinical practices are compliant with the mission of the executive leadership at Womack Army Medical Center.

Directed European Command's area of responsibilities strategic joint Health Service Support planning for 250 thousand beneficiaries in 51 countries covering 21 million square miles. Coordinated medical plans and operations with Joint Staff, NATO, Service Components and other unified commands. Managed deployment of area of responsibility medical assets, oversaw theater aeromedical evacuation and blood distribution systems. Acted as the lead consultant to DLA, four service component headquarters and as the Medical Joint Enabling Team liaison for the European Command's area of responsibility.

Group Practice Manager for Air Force Space Commands largest military treatment facility, managing access to 11 product lines with over 40 providers and 500 staff. Led high-quality healthcare management practice delivering 124 thousand annual encounters to 26 thousand beneficiaries. Evaluated and forecasted healthcare demand, advised military treatment facility leadership in resource utilization and executed access initiatives. Represented the medical group commander at the multi-service market, coordinated efforts with four other military treatment facility in the market and acted as the Med Control Center Team Chief during disaster response for the Colorado region.

Directed staff of 70 military and civilian personnel. Directed the largest logistics flight at the largest Air Force hospital overseas. Responsible for medical support operations including 26 medical facilities, medical and dental equipment valued at $15 million and medical supply sales of $6.5 million annually. Managed largest war reserve materiel program overseas valued at $12.5 million. Directed the largest medical equipment repair center operations supporting 10 hospitals and 19 geographically separated units in Europe.

Responsible for the security, integrity, and integration of over $2.5 million worth of information systems assets. Supported the continuum of care by aligning technology with strategic planning and clinical operations. Initiated and maintained key processes in the management of information functions required by DoD and civilian regulatory agencies. Supervised and diversified staff that maintained and managed over 30 DoD directed information systems and provided quality technical support and user training to the medical staff.
