As FULL PROFESSOR of University of Valencia and Scientific Advisor of DevStat, my research, transfer of knowledge and consultant activities are focused in PROVIDING SOUND QUANTITATIVE AND BEHAVIOURAL FOUNDATIONS TO IMPROVE POLICY AND BUSINESS DECISION-MAKING, from the creation of new quantitative methodologies to specific data-based applications for policy and business. I have been working as principal researcher, team leader and expert in projects related to measurement of Digital Economy, Public Procurement (Team Leader of DG TRADE Public Procurement Initiative (with 50 experts in 9 countries), behavioural finance, online behaviour, and integration of Behavioural Economics and AI, among others.I have led and participate in more than70 projects in 30 countries, including European Union, Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Moldova, New Zealand, Oman, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Thailand and USA for both: (1) Government sector: European Commission (Eurostat, DG trade, DG grow, EuropeAid, Joint Research Centre, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies, etc.), United Nations (UNCTAD, UNDP, etc.), World Bank, Asian Development Bank and national governments (China, Qatar, Spain, Sudan, etc.)(2) Industry: Bayer, BBVA, Burger King, Everis, France Telecom, GlaxoSmithKline, VidaCaixaI've been published in top peer-referee scientific journals such as Econometrica, Games and Economic Behaviour or Journal of Business Research.Working in multicultural and diverse teams is one of my key motivations. Music is my main personal interest. I love spending time playing my piano and attending opera and concerts at my hometown and when traveling.
