Projects involved:• Manufacturing, Supply and Installation of Submarine and Underground 400 kV Power Cables for Maracaibo Lake Crossing. Client: CORPOELEC - Venezuela.Planning and supervising during execution of hydrographic and geophysical studies associated with route planning for submarine and underground power cables within Maracaibo Lake and shores. Route planning and optimization for submarine and underground power cables considering third party crossings (pipes and OHTL), barge navigation facilities, studies result and cables limitations during laying and pulling.Verifying and discussing of power cables design with manufacturer and costumer reviewing long term ampacity reports accordingly to IEC 60287, reviewing cables and accessories type test certificates accordingly to IEC 62067.Coordination of the design of a 2 km two circuits 400 kV OHTL for transition between power cables through a GIS substation and the connection with an existing aerial line.• CADAFE – ENELVEN 230 kV LPOF Power Cables Repairs. Client: CORPOELEC – Venezuela.Planning and inspection of installation of four (4) outdoor termination for 230 kV LPOF submarine power cables for CADAFE – ENELVEN II link and six (6) joints for 230 kV LPOF underground power cables for CADAFE – ENELVEN I link. Planning and inspection of oil treatment, vacuum, pressurizing and tuning the cables’ oil system and pumping station for both CADAFE – ENELVEN LPOF 230 kV cable links.Translation and support on-site of power cable manufacturer personnel for communication with client CORPOELEC.• Manaure Substation 115/13.8 kVSwitchyard layout design and equipment location accordingly to safety and working clearances. Support structures loading calculation accordingly to IEEE 605, IEC 60865 and clients’ standards verifying equipment’s manufacturer requirements. Rigid and strain conductor calculation accordingly to IEEE 605.
