The Project/Program Manager II position provides technical assistance to grantees and manages a portfolio for the COO place-based and cultural community partnership grant agreements and services contracts. In addition, the PPM II supports processes for community investment, including drafting request for proposals (RFPs), negotiating and monitoring contracts, providing technical support to community contractors, and gathering and analyzing report information. This position works with community organizations and grass-roots coalitions that are tapping into their community's strengths and assets. COO seeks to build support and accelerate momentum through collaborative projects, policy & system change efforts, and learning activities to improve population health and well-being in parts of the county where the greatest health and well-being disparities exist. The PPM II is part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team that includes COO co-founding partners at King County's Department of Public Health, Department of Community and Human Services, and the Seattle Foundation.Communities of Opportunity (COO) is a community initiative that was launched through a partnership between King County and the Seattle Foundation in 2014. As the Homeownership Coordinator I was responsible for increasing Homestead’s effectiveness in creating homeownership opportunities for low-to moderate- income applicants, and supporting current homeowners in successful homeownership. Duties and responsibilities include: Intake, income and asset qualification review, underwriting and referral services. Manage and support the home sale process from start to finish, and collaborate with external agencies and organizations to ensure homebuyer success. Create and implement homeownership marketing opportunities including affirmative fair housing outreach, social media and mass email marketing, and client relations.Program stewardship includes record keeping for existing portfolio of homes and and other funding allocations, whether private or public.
