Fogo Media is a startup company focused on helping people more effectively use the abundance of information available online. Their flagship product, Fogozine, is an iPad app that provides a simple yet powerful tool to organize, consume and share online information by arranging disparate digital media formats into a central document. The initial version of Fogozine includes support for importing articles from RSS/Atom feeds and Evernote, and sharing via email, web, Instapaper and Posterous. Future plans include support for Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and several other formats for both importing and sharing. Fogozine for iPad is currently available for download in the App Store.As lead developer, my responsibilities include:• Providing guidance and recommendations on product architecture, development processes, coding guidelines, and development tools.• Designing and implementing Mac and iPad applications in Objective-C using Cocoa and Cocoa Touch frameworks in Xcode.• Leading all other developers (both employees and contractors). Defining interfaces, reviewing code for adherence to standards and methodologies, coordinating modular as well as compositional task assignments. Insuring a cohesive and stable finished product. Writing, testing and debugging critical segments of the product code as well as unified testing of the finished product.• Presenting product technology to potential investors and partners.• Ensuring Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines are followed.• Overseeing the App Store approval process.

Spirent Communications is an industry leader in wireless communication test systems. Working in small, agile development teams, my personal responsibilities cover the entire Software Development Life Cycle [SDLC]:• Requirements gathering with customers.• Designing, reviewing and implementing software.• Developing and executing a detailed test plan.• Installing new releases at customer sites and providing training.• Performing root cause analysis on customer issues.• Following strict documentation procedures for each phase of development.

• Provided phone and walk-in user support for laptop and desktop computers.• Performed software and hardware installation and troubleshooting for over 6000 undergraduate students, faculty and staff.
