I have had a strong passion for medicine since I was little, growing up around a pediatric clinic where my mother worked for many years. As a way of building up my experience in the medical field, I did Athletic Training throughout the four years of high school. I volunteered in a children’s hospital for 2 years in the neurology department where I was able to interact with many patients, nurses, and doctors. I also volunteered at an outpatient rehabilitation center for some time where I was able to help many patients gain back their full potential through physical therapy. Through these experiences I have gained wonderful sponsorship and a great amount of knowledge. I have had the possibility of building up great communication skills, interaction skills, and performance skills. It has made me more open hearted, dedicated, responsible, and open to new challenges and experiences.
