I am hold a degree in Chemistry from Paulista State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (1990 - Honor), PhD in Sciences from the Unicamp Chemistry Institute (1998) and a post-doctorate from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Delaware - United States (1999).I have experience in project management in Research, Development and Innovation of products for human use, and I have been worked for 23 years as a senior researcher, analytical manager, R&D director in research centers of large companies such as Cristália (1999-2004) and VitaNova Institute (NC Group) (2005-2013).I have been working for the last 10 years assisting pharmaceutical companies in the development of products to meet current regulatory issues to register their products and go to market - hundreds of projects and tens of companies - top 50 around Brazil.Today, I am a data scientist (chemometrics and spectroscopy) Nanotimize Tecnologia (since 2013) and I am directly involved in international development projects for new pharmaceutical products for human use. Over the past 10 years, I have been doing extensive work developing a new product applied to noninvasive biomarker analysis in humans, which has resulted in the patent application called "Device and non-invasive method to obtain and determine the concentration of several biomarkers simultaneously and in real time in human beings."I have been working on chemometric tools for 30 years since I started my graduate studies in 1993, and my knowledge is about the following tools: 1) Multivariate statistics: regression (PLS, PCR, SVM-R, LWR, etc.); 2) Multi-way (N-PLS, PARAFAC, Tucker). 3) Classification (PLS-DA, SVM-C, SIMCA-PCA); 4) Hyperspectral analyses (MCR, ALS, etc.); 5) Artificial Neural Network, Genetic Algorithm and Wavelet.Also I have knowledge in software applications: PLS_Toolbox™, Neural Network Toolbox™, CAMO-Unscrambler/Design Expert™, Infometrix/Pirouette™, NIRCal™, Wavelet Toolbox™, applying and modeling data comming from: spectroscopy techniques: NIR, Raman, IR, X-ray and thermal analysis (DSC/TGA).My areas of interest are: product development, instrumental analytical chemistry, multivariate calibration applied in non invasive analysis, hyperspectral, chemical-image analysis and Artificial Neural Networks to machine learning modeling.
