Directed the School and the Center for Conflict Management, enhancing its training programs, thereby generating revenue to achieve financial sustainability. Won (along with two students) the "Best Paper Award" at The Migration Conference in Athens, Greece. Secured funding from the American Arbitration Association/International Centre for Dispute Resolution and funding from the US State Department as a Fulbright Specialist to assist the Municipality of Athens, Greece in responding to the influx of refugees and migrants. Directed the PhD program in International Conflict Management and co-authoring a proposal for the School of Conflict Management (2015-2017).

Kansas City Metropolitan Area

Our technology start-up produced a fuel system for small engines that reduces pollution significantly, enhancing efficiency, and increasing torque. As a social enterprise, our ultimate goal was to improve air quality in mega-cities of the Global South, where pollution severely compromises public health. We originally started in the motocross industry but planned to gradually move toward massive retrofitting highly polluting small engines. We planned to leverage large-scale retrofitting by employing a micro-offset platform, serving as an financial incentive to improve air quality.

Directing MS in Global Health program at the Eck Institute for Global Health (2011-2015), teaching courses on humanitarian ethics and the use of mobile phones and internet-based platforms, involving crowd-sourcing, digital mapping and violence prevention. Serving in an administrative role focused on program development, representation, and service. Fund-raising and developing relations with Non-Governmental Organizations at the Kroc Institute (2006-2011), serving as university-wide liaison to Catholic Relief Services. Member of the Task Force of the Millennium Development Initiative/Ford Family Program in Human Development Studies and Solidarity and member of the working group on Water for Life of the Eck Institute for Global Health. In 2010, worked in Haiti for two months directing American Refugee Committee’s emergency response programs. Securing grant funding from the Metanexus Institute (which was supported by the Templeton Foundation).

South Bend, Indiana Area

Won the primary in a four-way race with a roughly 40% lead. Lost in the general election to an incumbent amidst a land slide in favor of the incumbent's party. Raised over $800,000 in one year, mainly from individuals.

Haverford, Pa

I supervised a staff of four and worked with approximately 75 undergraduate students, with an annual budget of around $500K. I worked with the Board of Trustees on socially responsible investment screens for the College’s endowment. I overhauled the budget to accurately project endowment proceeds, grant income, and expenditures. I also oversaw operations, including supervision of Haverford House in inner-city Philadelphia, which provides shelter and a learning environment for recent graduates reaching out to at-risk populations. I secured a $400,000 contribution from a major donor, along with the Vice President of Development.

Managing both a grant making foundation and an operating foundation--the Arsenault Family Foundation (now One Earth Future), with a collective endowment of $19 million, with plans for $170 million. Developing partnerships for project implementation in Canada, England, China and the US.

Developing organization-wide strategic plan with input from board members, staff members in the field, and staff members in headquarters. Overseeing 13 country programs in Africa, Asia and the Balkans, with approximately 1,500 staff members worldwide.
