Build and present reports for internal and external stakeholders, maintain a working knowledge of crop pollination to design and make changes to our protocols, assist operations in training field monitors, and create and maintain data sheets and dashboards.

Laboratory technician for USDA's Ag Research Service in Parlier. Responsible for sampling, processing, and maintaining pathogens and plant material for multiple research projects, as well as general laboratory maintenance and greenhouse management.

Burchell Nursery has two locations in California for plant breeding, propagation, and bareroot tree production. I was responsible for scouting pests in greenhouses and in outdoor plots for the Fowler location. Also assisted with breeding trials for various tolerance qualities in almonds, which is BNI's main commercial export.

Responsible for maintaining 8 greenhouses and multiple outdoor plots for the Fresno State Horticulture Unit. Weeding, tilling, forming beds, hand-seeding, transplanting, watering, and making soil were the main tasks assigned to us, as well as delivering what we grew to the school's farm market (tomatoes, beans, peas, flowers, etc.).
